We are staying in Coral Bay for a weekend in August. Or will we get stung at Learmouth Airport for not being able to return the car full of fuel if the nearest gas station is in Exmouth? Or the hire car company you are planning on using and ask them, as i'm sure they would have had this question before Exmouth is 37 km away so you would need to allow at least an extra hour for the trip in both directions if you need to get fuel in Exmouth. Yup, there is no petrol station between Coral Bay and the airport meaning that even if you fill up in Coral Bay you won't be close to having a full tank on return. The only possibility is the return trip into Exmouth. But this is a common circumstance at Learmonth. Some vehicles are given out with tanks that aren't full for this very reason as they were dropped off not full. Of course you aren't then expected to return it full.
