February 23rd, , AM. My GF and I have been on several cruises with Carnival and the main reason we started sailing with CCL is the fact that they did offer a topless deck to get away from all the kids. I am not happy that they removed the topless deck and there is hardly any effort put into removing the children from the Adult Only hot tubs as the picture describes above. I was told by a customer service person in CCL that Carnival is going to a more family oriented type of cruise. I understand their choice, but we need places to get away from it all also and that deck was a saving grace for us. Carnival needs to also remember that not all families consist of people who have kids. On every ship I have been on they have had deck chairs available at any time maybe not right next to the pool , but if they are using deck chair issues as the cause of this, that is just not going to solve any problems since ppl will not walk all those stairs just to find a deck chair up there. Heck they usually don't even walk to the back of the boat where there are always deck chairs one floor above the rear pool. The topless deck on some ships can only be accessed by going through the basketball court, you have to want to find it to find it.

Or in some cases, many people are simply comfortable baring a little bit more — including sunbathing topless.
Are sexy cruises at all similar to regular cruises?
But upon learning of its existence, I had a million questions for Nancy and other adult-themed cruisers about sailing aboard the S. Full Monty. Do you ever get self-conscious? What does the crew think about it? Fortunately, people willing to walk around naked among 3, also-naked strangers tend not to shy away from delicate questions. So some adults-only cruisers gave Yahoo Travel the naked truth about letting it all hang out on the open seas. Not all naked cruises on the same. The self-serve dining areas, however, are still clothing optional.
Here's a fun fact: At one point, topless sunbathing was fairly common on cruise ships, and not just those in Europe. On Carnival ships, the top deck around the funnel was well known as place where women could work on their tans, sans lines; that designation seemed to disappear sometime in this recent millennium. In today's era of family-friendly cruising, just what is allowed onboard? We reveal all on this hot topic of topless sunbathing on a cruise ship.
